24th International conference on construction applications of Virtual Reality

Kilian Speiser, Jochen Teizer, and Guido Maciocci received the Best Presentation Award at the CONVR2024 conference at the Western Sydney University.

At the beginning of November, we presented our research at the prestigious CONVR conference in Sydney. The presented research was conducted in collaboration with the Australian-Italian startup SWSM.AI. It introduces a novel approach to fine-tune and assess the use of agentic generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for risk assessments in construction safety.

In our study, we investigated the accuracy, reliability, and usability of such systems when performing Job Hazard Analysis. While the paper is not yet published, you can access the preprint here.
